L’Oreal Skin Expert Pure Clay Masks

It is quite obvious on Instagram that the L’Oreal Pure Clay Masks are very popular with beauty bloggers and celebrities, I don’t know if it is to help their skin or to just purely put three masks on at the same time. I decided after seeing these masks all over social media that it was finally time to test them out myself.

The first mask I decided to test out was the detox mask, I think it’s because my face needed a good detox so this one definitely stood out the most. The mask is designed to cleanse deep pores and leave the skin looking clarified and beautified without drying out the skin. I love this mask, from the moment you put it onto your face you can feel it starting to work and cleanse the skin. Then when you are removing the mask you can see all the dirt that is being extracted from the skin and feel the freshness on your skin.

I then went on to test out the glow mask, to try to brighten and exfoliate my skin. This mask is designed to efoliate to help illuminate the skin using it’s beaded, creamy texture. I had mixed thoughts on this mask when I first tested out this mask as I wasn’t sure on the beaded texture of it. But when I washed off the mask my skin felt so clean and smooth it was ridiculous. I find that this mask is best to use after a long week at work when I have worn a lot of make-up and my face just needs a good cleanse.

The last one that I tried was the Purity mask, this mask is designed to purify the skin and give it a matte-look by using it’s creamy textures to get deep into the pores. The first thing I noticed when applying this mask was how soft and cream it felt, it wasn’t harsh on the skin but at the same time you could feel it working on the skin straight away. I found that this mask didn’t leave my skin feeling as cleansed as the other two masks but did do exactly as it says, I find this mask great to use on a Sunday night to clear out any unwanted oils on my skin ready to apply make-up to it the next day.

I purchased these masks at boots but they can be found a lot of stores that sell skin care/beauty products.

I’ve only tried out the face wash from this range so far, which I’m reviewing on my blog this week, but I’m curious to try out the masks too since I recently ran out of my clay mask. I think I’ll try the red one as brightening is my main concern at the moment!
