There is no denying that everybody suffers from writers blog at some point when blogging. I have found that I suffer from this quite often and it’s usually the times I want to blog the most but can’t because my mind goes blank. I have been blogging for a year now and have found a few ways that help me to fill my mind back with inspiration and ideas to start creating posts that I am proud of.
Have some me time!
Run a nice bubble bath, light a candle and put on a face mask. The worst thing with bloggers block is you are constantly trying to come up with new ideas. Stop! Have some you time and stop thinking, this is when you will find all of your best ideas come to you because you are not over thinking!
Get out of the house!
Get yourself dressed and go for a walk, fetch a coffee or go to the gym. Go and clear that mind whilst doing something you enjoy and trust me that mind will soon refill with some of your best ideas to date! There is also nothing better then sitting in a coffee shop with your favourite drink and having a nice productive day without anybody getting in your way.
Get together with your friends!
Get ready and go and spend some time with your friends. The best and most random conversations we have are with the ones with love, so why not plan a girls night with some of your favourites and get the conversations going. Just make sure to jot down some of those ideas, ready to produce the next day!
Buy a nice little notepad!
I always find my post ideas come to me whilst I am out and about and nowhere near my laptop. So go out and buy yourself a little notepad and overtime you are out and an idea pops up, you can just jot it down on the pad and get ready to write when you get home!
cup of tea glass of win!
Don’t get me wrong, I am not encouraging people to go out drinking and get drunk, but sometimes sitting down and having a glass of wine can help. A glass of wine (or any other choice of drink) helps your body to relax and you will also find it opens up your mind and stops you from over thinking whilst writing a post.
Read other blog posts!
I’m not suggesting that you go on someone else’s blog and steal their blog posts, but sometimes looking at someone else blog can help inspire you to write your own posts. You might find inspiration from a post they have done or you may have a different opinion to what somebody else has written, so why not find inspiration from other bloggers?
I hope that some of these ideas can help you with your bloggers block and inspire you to get your creative mojo back!
