The 5 Struggles Of Blogging!

There is no denying that the blogging world is huge and rapidly growing, though a lot of people do not realise that it is not as easy as it look. These of 5 struggles that bloggers face daily:

Writers Block

The biggest struggle any writer or blogger faces is writers block. Writers block is when an author or writer loses the ability to create new work. I always find that when I am not near a computer or note pad I always get the best ideas for the blog but as soon as I am able to write my ideas down my mind goes blank!

Finding Time

I don’t know about other bloggers but the toughest struggle for myself is finding the time to actually blog. Between working 5 days a week and completing an online Uni course, blogging is something that has to be pushed to the back. This can be very difficult for a lot of bloggers, especially full time workers or parents!

Taking The Perfect Picture

This has to be the biggest struggle of my life! I don’t actually understand how people are able to take such amazing pictures especially when mine just tend to fail. As a blogger you are expected to take these perfect flat lays and be able to have somebody take a picture of you standing in the street looking at the ground. This is the one blogger stereotype I tend to steer away from!

Organising Your Social Media Content

I think this one blends in with finding time, when you decide to blog your also deciding to set up a twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, bloglovin and other social media accounts. The problem is you have to stay organised on all of these to be able to make your blog successful!

Growing Your Audience

A lot of people underestimate how hard it is to actually grow your blogs audience. It takes a lot of time and effect to do this, it doesn’t matter how many Instagram or twitter followers you have, if they are not going to read your blog then your audience is not going to grow!

Love this, definitely agree with every point! And what makes it worse is as a blogger I think we’re so much harder on ourselves in each of these aspects! It’s all worth it in the end though. X

I so feel you on all of these. Finding time is just the biggest thing for me, I just always seem to be doing something or other which means my blog gets neglected! xx

I love this post, because it’s so relateable! I completely agree with what you said with increasing your audience. It’s so difficult! I wish there was a simple way to get your posts out to the world xxx

I can completely relate to all of these struggles. I’m an A Level student so I have to balance my blogging with all my school work. The biggest struggle I have is growing my blog’s audience and sometimes I want to give up trying. Ugh- it’s so hard!  But it’s the passion that we have for it that keeps us going.  Aoife xx (aoifecaitriona.wordpress.com)

Well said and said well. I concur with everything you have said. My biggest stress has been photography, I have decided that mine are raw and real 😉 as I am no photographer. What I don’t know is if people are actually reading my posts?

Great post! It’s all super relatable, blogging is hard work. Often people think it’s so simple but the time and effort that goes into it is crazy. Finding time is definitely hard for me, I have to young children and juggling my time between them and social media is a balancing act.xfjx

Growing my audience is my main challenge at the moment as I’m just starting out. When I start college, finding time will definitely be harder.

For me taking my blog photos is difficult because first of all I don’t even own a DSLR camera just my iPhone camera!! And it is hard growing our audience too but that’s how we all start! Really enjoyed this post.

All the struggles you listed relate so much to me. I don’t have a good camera for photos, I can’t seem to be able to build an audience and writer’s block is killing me right now. It’s crazy

Definitely true about finding the time! Though I’ve always set myself the target of posting every couple of weeks, I certainly feel a bit of pressure to try and post more frequent…

Lmao talk about staring at the ground has to stop. I think fashion bloggers should go back to showing how to style clothes not taking 15pics of one outfit. There’s only so many ways you can look at one dress.
