Change Your Morning To Improve Your Day

I quite recently did a post ‘7 things to do before bed’ to make your morning easier and now I’ve decided to do a post about what you should do in a morning to ensure you have a great day!

Eat A Proper Breakfast

This is something that people always say ‘make sure you don’t skip breakfast’ ‘breakfast is the most important meals of the day’, but as much as we roll our eyes at it, it’s true! Eating breakfast gets your body started for the day as it boosts up your energy. It has also been suggested that eating breakfast improves your mood, which we all need after that alarm goes off and we need to get ready for work.

Switch Your Coffee To Green Tea

I openly admit that I am addicted to coffee yet recently I have switched my morning coffee to green tea. I will admit the first couple of days I was having serious coffee withdrawals but as time have gone on I have noticed a difference in my skin and in my over all mood. Green tea has it’s benefits as it helps to cleanse your insides and also helps to boost your metabolism.

Do A Workout

This is one people would most likely stick their nose up at! The last thing you want to do before work is a workout, but think about it getting up that 30 minutes earlier and completing a quick workout gets it out the way. A morning workout is a lot like breakfast, it provides your energy for the day and boosts your metabolism. This way you are going to burn more calories throughout the day from that quick 30 minute workout!

Drink A Glass Of Water

In a morning people go straight for the coffee, but in reality you need to wake up and drink a glass of water. The reason being it starts up your metabolism, hydrates you, helps flush toxins out of your body and gives your brain fuel for the day. The easiest way to do this, when you go to bed put a glass of water on your bedside table so as soon as you wake up in the morning you can start sipping away!

Wear A Kickass Outfit

One thing that is going to improve your day, is putting on an outfit that is going to give you confidence and makes you feel like a boss! Whether your just having a normal day at work or having a nice chilled out day, put on clothes that are going to give you the confidence to conquer the world!

    That whole work out thing… The morning is my most productive time of the day, so I always try and get some work done then – doesn’t leave much time for a work out. Even though I know I really should :p

    I’m not going to lie, I made the switch to green tea just over a year ago for my go to morning beverage and now I feel totally lost if I miss it for any reason! LOVE curling up with a tea in the morning, allowing myself to slowly wake up refreshed and feeling great!
